Discovery and Management Platform For Heritage Sites

The platform aimed to help the client with easy discovery and management of the various heritage sites across the country for a scheme. It included information dissemination about the sites, developing the forms based process to facilitate the different operations across the sites and monitoring them.

The challenges facing us were to maintain and enhance the consistency and engagement received by the then-current website. We had to create a high-visibility website with the following new features-

  1. New information architecture
  2. A modern UI with easy navigation capability
  3. Including a public dashboard displaying the statistics
  4. Implementing a lead capturing mechanism
  5. Social media integration to enhance the reach
  6. Using multimedia content to make the website more engaging
  7. Provides easy access to visitor across devices, browsers, form factors and resolution.

As part of the solution, we developed a website with the following sections-

  1. Awareness – The landing page of the website was designed in a user-friendly manner and provided an overview of the different sections of the website. Then a section that covers details of the program and key stakeholders. The state-wise heritage and tourist sites are also listed to help visitors easily discover sites of their interest.
  2. Encourage – This section contains stories/ successful case studies of adoptions under implementation, in order to encourage people to participate in the adoption drive.
  3. Action – This part of the web portal includes all the important documents available for download, a list which includes project guidelines, advertisements for inviting Expression of Interest, design guidelines among others. FAQs section has also been added to include all the frequently asked questions that serve all the stakeholders and other individuals seeking information before moving to the next step.
  4. Track – On the website, visitors will be prompted to fill out a form to receive updates related to the scheme, the data from which is used to form lists in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which has been used to specifically target and personalize marketing campaigns.

     

We created an online adoption system and registration flow for the web portal. We also created additional features like the dashboard, administrator panel for the bidding system, and a progress monitoring system. In doing so, we achieved the following metrics-
