However, in order to ensure maximum reach and influence, they called upon the team to promote social media presence on popular platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest to increase the reach and visibility of state tourism.
We launched several campaigns promoting tourist attractions, cultural hotspots, and heritage sites across the state. From time to time audience was updated on the events happening in the state, places that were travel-worthy but were less known were showcased through campaigns like hidden gems. Online reputation management was constantly managed by our Social media team and every engagement over social media was closely monitored.
Some of the successful events that witnessed massive reach were the Travel Writers’ Conclave, Bird’s Festival, Balloon Festival, Buddhist’s Conclave, Mango Festival, World Record Plantation Drive. Alongside, the team proactively campaigned during major festivals and happenings throughout the year. Our campaign around Hidden Gems of the state, Travel Hacks, and “The Roots” were a few of the most popular campaigns.
Some of the notable challenges were; sharing a curated list of prominent tourist attractions across the state, promoting events from geographically diverse locations with spotty networks, tailoring event content that caters to tourists with diverse interests, online reputation management, offering a seamless digital experience to all the tourists and strike a chord with their travel wish list.
